Ticked off! @cost of parking

-

Three times this weekend on three different TV channels, one local, I heard a pseudo-professional say “me and my brother” and “me and my friend.” Who hires these ignorant people? Did they not finish third grade?

I am really ticked off at myself for not researching the prices at airport parking companies. I have been a loyal customer of one for many years. When I was waiting (20 minutes) for their van to come and pick me up after my arrival, I spoke with a couple who used another service and they paid less than half of what I did. Do your research, people.

To the barbecue place on Ronald Reagan Boulevard near State Road 417: If your sign says you open at 11 a.m. and I am at your gate at 11:10 a.m. you should be open. I had lunch elsewhere.

Upset Amazon didn’t ring your doorbell? Use their app to get notifications where your package is on the delivery route and when it’s delivered! It’s amazing what technology can do! Just use it!

I’m ticked off that Uma Thurman was not in the Capital One “Pulp Fiction” commercial as Mrs. Claus with Santa Travolta and elf Samuel L. Jackson. She would have been a perfect completion to the memorable dance scene.

Fireworks on Christmas? Seriously?

I’m ticked off that the state provides drivers licenses to people who are dense and clueless. How is it acceptable to leave your car, blocking the pump, to get a gas receipt that you’re just going to throw away. If the receipt is that important, pull away from the pump to a store parking spot, and get your receipt. Be considerate of others, it’s not difficult.

The flip side

Many thanks to the City of Orlando for decorating Lake Eola so beautifully with the giant lighted Christmas Tree, Nut Crackers, fountain lights, and for creating many pretty spots perfect for taking family photos.
