Ticked off! @rough road

It ticks me off that diversity seems to be the only qualification needed for some jobs. What happened to being the best person for the job because you have the best skills to do the job?

I am ticked off that law enforcement has done absolutely nothing to curb the speeding problem in the 25 mile an hour speed zone on North Econ Trail from Watermill to University Boulevard. I have called in many complaints to the Orange County Sheriff ’s Department over the last 35 years with absolutely zero result.

Our tax codes at every governmental level from local to U.S. are a patchwork mess. But what can be expected when these are written by attorneys and accountants?

I am extremely ticked off that there is absolutely no news coverage of the

Orlando Solar Bears in the newspaper! The only coverage is of the Lightning and no other pro hockey teams. That is sad and disappointing. The Solar Bears are a great team and the minor league affiliate of the Lightning! Please give them the publicity and respect they deserve!

Why can’t the City of Orlando fix Virginia Avenue between Mills Avenue and Fern Creek Boulevard? It’s been in rough shape for years.

I’m ticked off at gas pump complainers. Do something! The root cause is no receipts at the pump. Complain to the pump vendor or Better Business Bureau about no receipts.

Iamso ticked off at having to wait at the deli counter in the Lake Mary large chain grocery store while five workers are running around doing pre-slicing for their graband-go section and others are slicing up meats for the online orders. You make enough money to afford to keep at least two workers on the deli counter during business hours. Hire more deli workers!

Thank you to Cheddar’s restaurant on South Semoran Boulevard for their yummy chicken pot pies and for giving free buttery croissants. The restaurant is beautiful and homey.
