Ticked off! @slow drivers

-

I’m ticked off at drivers. You’re the demented one and a general hazard on the road. Regardless of the speed limit, if you’re going slower than the flow of traffic, get in the righthand lane! I believe there are signs all over telling you that is exactly what you’re supposed to do.

I am ticked off at myself for losing my badly needed new prescription glasses. I think in the parking lot of Magruder Eye Clinic Friday afternoon Jan. 14. They must have fallen out of the car when I got out.

I’m ticked off at all the calls I get wanting to lower my cable bill. I’ve had them before and got rid of them. They have people come to my door trying to get me to sign up. Their phone calls don’t provide me with an option to be deleted from their call list. If I wanted to change my service provider, I could figure out how to do it on my own instead of receiving all these annoying phone calls. Leave me alone!

I have to question whether or not Seminole County is handling recycle waste properly. As opposed to the usual truck that has separate side bins for the different types of recycle product, today a normal garbage truck came and dumped cans, bottles and paper products all in the same rear loading truck — the same style truck as a normal garbage truck. Makes you wonder.

The flip side

I am so grateful and pleased at the caring attitude of some businesses toward handicapped folks like me. My vet has “curbside” service so that I never have to leave my van and yet get excellent care for my little dog. A battery store in Oviedo extended this caring service to me when I needed an odd battery for my flag light. You’ll never know how much pain and fear you all prevent for us when you accommodate us with curbside service. Thank you and bless you!
