Bad Bunny coming to Orlando on ‘World’s Hottest Tour’
International superstar Bad Bunny, known globally for his reggaeton, Latin trap and urban sounds, has announced his 29-date “World’s Hottest Tour,” which includes a stop in Orlando.
The Puerto Rican artist, whose given name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, will grace the stage at Camping World Stadium while kicking off his first stadium tour on Aug. 5. This show will represent the artist’s third planned appearance in Central Florida this year, as he’s also slated to entertain at Amway Center on March 29-30.
Following the release of his debut album, Bad Bunny performed 48 soldout shows around the U.S., Latin America and Europe. Bad Bunny’s El Último Tour Del Mundo 2022, which kicks off in February, sold 480,000 tickets and grossed $84 million in a single day, according to Billboard.
The star quickly rose to worldwide prominence in 2017 and 2018 after collaborating with artists such as Karol G, Cardi B and Drake. Bad Bunny now has four studio albums, an EP, a mixtape and many singles to his name with catchy lyrics and beats that have garnered the attention of millions. In addition, the musician now has a Grammy Award, four Latin Grammy Awards and numerous other accolades.
Since rising to fame, the entertainer has become Spotify’s most-streamed artist for two consecutive years. Bad Bunny was also the first artist to have an all-Spanish album reach the top of the Billboard 200.
Although Bad Bunny is known for his talents as a musician, he is also a professional wrestler and made an appearance at WrestleMania in Tampa last year, teaming up with Damien Priest to defeat the Miz and John Morrison.
The 2022 Orlando concert calendar is shaping up to be a busy one with appearances from The Eagles, Tool, Justin Bieber, Journey, Elton John and The Killers all scheduled at Amway Center. In addition, Billy Joel, Garth Brooks, Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe and the Red Hot Chili Peppers are slated to perform at Camping World Stadium.
