Ticked off! @fairground noise

-

I was just a little ticked off at Elton John for not allowing binoculars at his concert. However, the concert was so good I forgot I was ticked off.

I’m ticked off at the person who picked up a stack of moving boxes on my neighbor’s curb in College Park and then threw some of the remaining items over on my side, crushing some of my plants in the process.

I’m ticked off at the Latin grocery store chain that if you bring a reusable bag, they make you leave it in the front and come back for it. I’ll be going to your competitors and you can keep your blue bags to yourselves.

For two weeks ina row, my neighbors and I have been assaulted by loud noise (music?) at the fairgrounds on Saturdays.

It is now 7:30 p.m. and I can still hear the noise when I am inside with my windows and doors closed. I suggested installing a noise barrier wall behind the stage, but of course no action is being taken. If Buddy Dyer wants to promote this type of noise, why can’t he do it in front of the Dr. Phillips Center instead of in a residential area? I usually wear hearing aids, but not when I am in the yard because of the noise coming from the fairgrounds.

I’m ticked off at the landlord next door to me in College Park. He just had landscapers cut and edge the small front, but the larger backyard is still knee deep.

I worked to pay for my college tuition and expenses. It ticks me off that a bunch of college-educated freeloaders think their student loans should be forgiven, which really means that taxpayers will be responsible for paying their debt. It is their loan. They should repay it.

The flip side

The Thursday Ladies Lunch Bunch would like to thank the person or persons who paid for our lunch at the Egghaven in Winter Haven last week. We will pay it forward!
