Ticked off! @accident response

-

Having a designated two hours for seniors to shop at Sam’s Club is a great idea, pandemic or not. This senior is ticked off that this opportunity has ceased. Please reconsider, Walton family.

I hope no one suffers the day I’ve had today. First, I was involved in a traffic accident. Second...have you ever called 911 and had no answer after 15 rings? It took three attempts to get 911 to answer. Third, they relayed us to Florida Highway Patrol. Fourth, it took a little over 3 ½ hours for a unit to arrive at the scene. Maybe I’m wrong, but 3 ½ hours is beyond a reasonable expectation, especially since we were sitting there in 90+ degrees. We were assured repeatedly that the first “available unit” would respond. It’s hard to believe that not one unit was available in that length of time.

I am really ticked off that neighbors play basketball in the intersection of the road and leave their trash on someone else’s property. They wear out and kill whatever grass was holding the sand in place and when you instruct them to pick up their garbage, they become spiteful and dump more trash. If you are not going to dump your trash in a garbage can, then you should be banned from playing basketball there. What is wrong with the person who invited these pigs to play there? He sees his friends making the mess and does nothing. Maybe code enforcement should come and give them all a huge fine.

I’m ticked off at people who buy stuff (they don’t need or want), but think when they get home if they don’t really like it they’ll just return it. Well, guess what happens to those returns?! That loss was already built into the price of the product from the previous loss! I know someone who returned an air fryer after one use. She didn’t like it. The returns person immediately cut the plug off the machine in front of her!

The flip side Thank you, Ticked

off! for letting me know there are still restaurants out there that still require dress codes are met. Now all I have to do is figure out which one(s).
