Ticked off! @smokers’ butts

-

How are we suppose to make it? House insurance went up $338, Spectrum went up $18, gas is $4.50 a gallon. But guess what? Our Social Security didn’t move. We need help.

I share my ticked off-ness with the person complaining about the danger of attempting to ride safely in bike lanes on our roads. You’re taking your life in your own hands if you ride a bicycle in Florida. Our sheriff here in Volusia County has been run over twice. Most cars give you the required space. About one in five or six don’t. It only takes one.

I consider smokers great litterers with the way they throw the butts around wherever they are. It is a dirty habit and this behavior makes it more so. I doubt that they even know how they smell to nonsmokers. I say this as I am picking their waste up in front of my property! As if they ever take a minute to question who would be picking up after them.

As a resident of the City of Ocoee, I’m ticked off that the new City Hall looks like a palace while the surrounding town looks like a slum. Should’ve directed some of that money to sprucing up the area!

I’m ticked off that some people who caused bad things to negatively effect many others, then blame unrelated people/events for the problems they created initially.

The flip side

The school year is almost over and I want to take a minute to say thank you, Seminole County Schools! Thank your for the support given to Lyman High School students and the hard work they put into their Yearbook. Thank you to the teachers and staff for being there every day for our students. We were able to enjoy chorus shows at school and the fifth grade students were able to enjoy their favorite field trip -The Environmental Center -- especially the mud walk! Bravo Seminole County, see you next year.
