Ticked off! @diverging diamond
I am ticked off as well with the local news anchor dressing like she is at a nightclub. Take a page from the other local news stations who dress professionally and dress professionally, as well. Or maybe the staff of this news anchor needs to hire a stylist for this anchor. You are reporting the news not on a dating app.
I’m ticked off at the new diverging diamond intersection on I-4 in Osceola County. Who is the numb skull who thought up this ridiculous idea? The interstate is hard enough to navigate with the new changes without adding a virtual Rubik’s Cube to the mess. This needs to be changed before we have some serious accidents there.
I’m ticked off that the I-4 “Express” lanes are littered with speed traps and charge you a premium to reduce your speed to 60 MPH limit, compared to the 65 MPH (where everyone really drives 80 MPH) in the regular lanes. And the exits are so inconveniently placed! Need to exit at Lee Road eastbound? Well get off four miles before at Colonial. Or how about Sand Lake Road westbound? Jump off the express at John Young Parkway (five busy exits prior) or you’ll miss it! Pointless rip-off.
I’m ticked off that the Ticked off! column is providing a platform for bullying. Submissions of opinions of one’s physical appearance should not be published. Fortunately for the news anchor with “old lady knees” she can cover those with pants, an ugly heart will always be an ugly heart. Hope you, the contributor, reflect back on your comment when you have “old lady knees” or worse. Be kind, do better!
It’s a shame that the Orlando Museum of Art board chair and board members did not perform competent due diligence in hiring the past two directors. This is a great opportunity for the right person. It’s time for a change at the top, or do we let this incompetence continue?
The flip side
I want to thank the lady who helped me load the chairs in my car at a store on State Road 436. What a sweet angel!
