Ticked off! @three flat tires

-

I’m ticked off at SunPass, who, when introducing the SunPass Pro inadvertently programmed the SunPass Mini to charge for tolls in other states. In the meantime, I had to de-activate my account, and when I returned to Florida I called to re-activate my SunPass and they failed to do so, resulting in higher pay by plate tolls for the all too many Florida tolls as is. Now their poor customer service is making me jump through hoops to get a refund by providing them with toll information they already have!

I’m ticked off that I didn’t buy stock in the company that makes crime scene tape.

To the person that is ticked off at Publix for price gouging, well, I just spent $84 at Publix today, and between the buy-one-get-one-free, and other specials, I saved $20.81. Try saving that much elsewhere. You don’t became Florida’s biggest grocery chain by gouging your customers.

I’m ticked off that the NCAA, in order to appease the major college football powers, is proposing an expansion to a 12-team playoff series. Won’t that annoy the teams at 13th, 14th and 15th places, causing the playoffs to be expanded again?

I am ticked off that in the past three weeks, one of my tires, my husband’s tire, and one of my son’s tires has gone flat because of a nail and could not be plugged but had to be replaced because of where the nails were. It would be nice if workers working with nails were much more careful about properly storing them or picking up after themselves!

Companies that use children to sell their products engage in the worst form of abuse.

The flip side

Thanks to the staff, volunteers and sponsors of Honor Flight, that flies veterans for a day in Washington, D.C., in recognition of their military service. I went Oct. 29 and had the time of my life. It mitigates the contempt for military after Vietnam.
