Ticked off! @express lane cheats

-

I’m ticked off at rude people who get in the “12 items or less” lane with a cart full of groceries. Can they not read or count? But I have a solution! When the thirteenth item rings up, charge them an additional $2 and credit the next person in line who is under the posted limit the $2 to thank them for the inconvenience of waiting.

To all of you “ticked off ” at annoying commercials, do what my smart brother-in-law does. He mutes the sound on every ad and ignores the disingenuous attorneys, cable and car salesmen. It may sound sally, but it works!

Well, ha, ha, ha. That juice commercial where the woman kicks an innocent man in the face three times just because he’s a clown is just so funny! If a man touches a woman, he ends up in jail. But it’s always just so funny when a woman beats up a man!

I’m ticked off at service industries that you have paid out and used for 20 years won’t let you break payments down when needed! An elderly person who lives on $1,000 Social Security has to stretch that budget as far as possible. By paying you $50 a month we can keep your services paid in advance and up to date and still feed ourselves. I hope you or your loved one never has to retire or have high medical bills and need your A/C fixed, or a plumber to fix something, a maid service, lawn service, etc! We don’t want to sell our houses to the highest bidder and move into an assisted living facility! Have a heart, old people aren’t looking for something for free, we just need things fixed but we also have to eat and pay utilities!

The flip side

Many thanks to the lady at Aloma Publix who paid for my groceries when I had forgotten my billfold. She deserves a headline in the paper!
