Ticked off! @teacher shortage

-

I’m ticked off that my grandchildren no longer receive tutoring apparently due to a lack of funds and a teacher shortage. So, where is all that Lotto money going?

I’m ticked off at the news! Speeding traffic, sharks, lawyers that “got me...,” alligators, illegal aliens from the south and New Yorkers from the north, mosquitoes, heat, low wages, too much construction but not enough housing(?), and the everglades are still drying up. I love Florida. I really do. If you don’t, go away. It’s as simple as that.

I am ticked off that local, state and federal governments typically wait until someone is homeless and living in a tent before they offer housing assistance. Why not offer people housing assistance before they are homeless? Why make disabled and elderly persons who are on the wait list for a housing voucher wait years for a voucher or any kind of assistance? More needs to be done to keep people in their homes and off the streets!

If you love commercials, don’t miss the Fox College Hoops half time show on Saturdays. You will see ten second highlights of eight other college games, and fifteen-plus minutes of commercials. Thank the Lord for Camp Lejeune and Balance of Nature.

An innovative self-driving car ticks me off less than an inexperienced 16-yearold driving while on the phone or an 80-year-old with poor reflexes, eyesight and hearing behind the wheel.

I’m ticked off at people who are chronically unpunctual. It’s incredibly rude to keep people waiting. Your time is no more important than other people’s.

The flip side

I want to let the staff at the Amway Center know how amazing they are. I was among thousands of people at the Bruce Springsteen concert, and they were so efficient and professional and friendly. You are deserve ao much praise. We see you and appreciate you!
