A pastor living in Kissimmee was arrested last week, accused of raping a congregant on two different occasions, and the Osceola County Sheriff ’s Office has asked other possible victims to come forward.

Eddy Noelsaint, pastor of Église Évangélique De La Restauration in Orlando, is being held in the Osceola County Jail without bond, charged with two counts of sexual battery after his Feb. 28 arrest.

Noelsaint, 50, allegedly confessed to the accusations, brought by a congregant who said she was raped at his home on two different occasions in 2022, court records show.

“The Sheriff ’s Office is asking if anyone else has had similar encounters with Pastor Eddy Noelsaint to contact our office immediately,” an agency spokesperson said in a Monday press release.

According to an arrest affidavit, the victim was first attacked by Noelsaint in July 2022, when she visited his home for what she believed was a spiritual revival. After Noelsaint’s wife, her “spiritual Godmother,” left for work, the victim was allegedly given tea, which she said made her unwell.

The victim was then given several pills, which weakened her, the affidavit continued. Noelsaint is then accused of taking her into a bedroom and raping her. She also told deputies that the pastor took her wedding ring, saying there were “bad spirits” inside, and never returned it.

The second attack happened months later, in November, after the victim said she went to the house again to view apartments with Noelsaint’s wife, records said. Instead, she was met with the pastor, who the affidavit said overpowered her as she tried to escape.

The victim reported the rapes to deputies Feb. 17, according to the affidavit. Noelsaint was interviewed more than a week later and was “less than forthcoming” about the encounters before confessing “ultimately to having sex with [the victim] in 2022.”
