Ticked off! @toilet manufacturers

-

I am ticked off about how some people treat the Lynx bus drivers because they won’t give them a courtesy ride. It is at the driver’s discretion. Seeing the drivers be threatened and berated, no wonder they are shorthanded on drivers.

Well, I saw it this afternoon in the complex where I live. A small red car backed out of a parking space into the driveway and hit the vehicle driving past. If he had left the space front first, the collision would have been avoided.

I’m ticked off at toilet manufacturers who make toilets too low so that older and frail people have a lot of trouble standing up from a sitting position.

To the people wondering why I leave one car length or so behind the vehicle in front of me at a red light. The reason is so I can still go around that car when it stalls, becomes immobile, or I need a quick escape. That happens more often than you think. Besides, once the light turns green I am ready to press the gas and get going without bumping the car in front of me. I actually get through the light quicker. If you notice, police and emergency vehicles do the same thing.

I get ticked off every time a sports fanatic says, “We won the game!” when they were not out on the field playing! They were just sitting on their sofa stuffing their face with hot dogs, wings, chips and soda! How can you say “We won” when you did nothing but stuff your face and holler at the TV screen! You are not a member of the team!

The flip side

Thank you Robin who helped us use our gift card at the Mobil station last Friday. She even filled my tank with gas and went in to the store to get my receipt even though her mother was in their car on a warm day. She was so kind to an elderly couple. There are good people around us.
