Ticked off! @grocery prices

-

I am also very annoyed at back-in parkers, who hold up parking lot traffic flow as they maneuver their vehicles. But the most asinine thing I have seen many times is drivers backing into an angled space. As they pull out to leave they are driving the wrong way in a one way lane! Wake up, people!

It ticks me off that during or after a hurricane we are warned about illegal price gouging. But now it seems that the groceries industry has been able to legally price gouge us. It’s obvious that the prices in the grocery store are artificially inflated for no reason other than greed. It is shown in every quarterly report on the record profits all the grocery chains are reporting. So to me it is obvious that the prices are inflated more than they need to be at the expense of all of us.

I’m ticked off that so many people don’t understand that those of us who love pulling out vs. backing out of parking spaces rarely back in. We’re smart enough to pull into a spot with a vacant spot in front of it. We just pull right on through.

I’m ticked off that my refrigerator ice maker broke too. Bought six ice cube makers for $4.99. Problem solved.

I’m ticked off at drivers who park along the sides of the roads at the airport. It is especially irksome and dangerous at night when dozens of cars pull off the road and put their flashers on. There are already 5-6 lanes of traffic to cope with without these long lines of flashing lights. Come on, folks. The waiting lot has clean rest rooms, vending machines, an arrival board, and is closer to the terminal than your illegally parked car.

The flip side

I want to thank all the people that helped me and my mother after she fell out of her wheelchair. Your help and kindness was much appreciated.
