Ticked off! @traffic enforcement

-

To the person upset with nothing new on television, besides game shows and reality shows, did you not know that there has been an ongoing writers strike? NCIS doesn’t just happen, writers create scripts. That’s why there are now so many “unscripted” shows on the boob tube.

To those complaining about television fare these days, there has been a writer strike for months, a potential actor strike looming, so don’t expect TV viewing to improve any time soon.

I’m ticked off that each and every day certain local police have an endless number of new “customers” to ticket and with that being so, clearly such enforcement is a more reliable source of revenue than effective at changing drivers’ behaviors. If it was effective, they would have achieved the latter goal years ago.

Why are folks so selfish? Because the authorities let them get away with it. The supervisor of the apartment complex should evict those cheating on the parking rules or see to it that they park elsewhere. There will always be nasty folks like these among us and it’s up to us to see that they are stopped!

I’m ticked off at people who walk their dogs on these hot Florida sidewalks. This can easily burn the pads on the bottom of their paws. If it’s too hot to touch with your hand, then it’s too hot for your pet’s feet. Use a little common sense people. Try putting on a coat in the summer and walk on the hot sidewalks with your bare feet and see what happens.

I can’t believe these TV shysters who are advertising themselves as “slip and fall” lawyers. That’s the oldest con in the books and they’re promoting/encouraging it? I miss the days when lawyers couldn’t advertise on TV.

The flip side

Thanks to all those gracious drivers who yield when you signal a lane change. You are a gentle person. There are so many rude drivers now who speed up when you signal!
