Ticked off! @loud motorcycles

-

It ticks me off that people who know it’s illegal to drive a golf cart on a public road think it’s okay instead to drive it down a sidewalk!

There’s an awful lot of abuse of disabled parking privileges. I love it when people park in a handicap stall and then walk a couple miles in Costco. While a lot of these disabled placard cars have drivers with their affliction seeming to be lead feet – on the gas pedal. My favorite is when I see a handicap decal on a pickup truck.

I’m ticked off at the motorcyclists who felt the need to rev their engines for three hours overnight. People are trying to sleep because they have to work in the morning. No one was impressed.

I’m ticked off at discount shoe stores that only carry men’s shoes in medium wide and extra wide sizes and mostly in whole sizes only – no half sizes. My foot is an 11-½ B (narrow) and it’s impossible for me to go into one of these stores and buy a pair of shoes that fits properly. Evidently most men either don’t care if their shoes fit or they’ll cram their foot into a shoe that’s way too big or way too small.

I would like to know what Lake County is doing with one cent sales tax they collect? They said it was for infrastructure, but apparently not! The roads in Lake County are horrible! Maybe Lake County residents should send their car repair bills to Lake County Commissioners since it’s clearly not being used to repave the roads!

For once in my life I’d prefer to not have to view the health care commercial with senior citizens singing out of tune and dancing out of step with one another. It ruins the enjoyment of my morning coffee.

The flip side

We’d like to give a big thank you to the wonderful staff of the Orange County 311 App who helped make our neighborhood look good by taking care of all the empty overgrown lots in the Milk District throughout the summer. We really appreciate you.
