Ticked off! @wasted money

-

It ticks me off that while our bridges and roads in need of repair, our coastline is in need of protection from rising seas, and our air traffic control system is understaffed and using antiquated equipment, raising safety issues, the federal government can waste so much money.

I’m ticked off at Channel 9. I know you all are at the mercy of the networks but you are really losing viewers due to the fact that the other night’s hockey game went 43 minutes past the allotted time. This is not allowable and absolutely ridiculous.

I’m ticked off at folks that said I was whining about losing my Yeti water bottle because I accidentally left it in the grocery cart at the Clermont Walmart. That wasn’t merely a whine, that was a full-on Boo Hoo! And, the great, no leak bottle was a gift that I received several years ago from a very special friend.

I’m ticked off at the Cranes Roost area in Altamonte Springs. Everyone is waiting for a horrible accident to happen due to the lack of planning. City of Altamonte, Seminole County and local law enforcement should be directing traffic and slowing down traffic in this area.

I’m ticked off at the incompetent parenting of two little girls who demanded attention in Casselberry’s Floor and Decor on Sunday night making as much noise as possible while their parents blithely ignored them. The girls are being raised to be shunned by every considerate and cultured individual they ever meet.

The flip side

I could not be more grateful to all of the people in Orlando and beyond who have contributed toward creating and maintaining the Dr. Phillips Center. I attended the Keb’ Mo’ show at Judson’s Live and loved it! Keb’ Mo’ is an extraordinary performer, and the staff and venue are perfection. Thank you all for making these wonderful performances available to us.
