A lesson in ‘straight and crooked thinking’

-

A Sunday December 13 E-R news headline reads, “High court makes short work of Trump’s ‘ big one.’ ” No surprise there since even Republican Ben Sasse has said that ” every American who cares about the rule of law should take comfort that the Supreme Court, including all three of President Trump’s picks, closed the book on the nonsense.”

Why would he say this? Partly because not one of Trump’s lawyers has, before a judge in a court of law, been willing to state fraud occurred in the 2020 election. Why? Because they could not produce any evidence supporting Trump’s blabbering baseless contention of fraud. So who is the fall guy going to be who gets blamed for the various court rejections? Evidently Rudy Giuliani since the talking heads on Fox are now accusing him of doing a terrible job in failing to produce a strong legal argument in the prosecution of Trump’s claims.

This is like blaming an emergency room doctor for the death of a patient who is brought to the hospital DOA. Should we fell sorry for this ridiculous Trump shill? Heck no, he knew better. And if you still insist on believing Trump and his contention that the election was rigged and a fraud just because you don’t want to believe he lost fair and square I would like to make a suggestion. Go back and review your “straight and crooked thinking” class notes because I think you have forgotten everything you learned.
