Statues and names — is Bidwell next?

-

As we begin 2021, let’s start our assaults on the liberal-socialist agenda. It’s going to be as easy as 1-2-3.

I’ll start with those who want to remove statues and rename military installations, cities, schools, ad nauseam.

I’ll mention statues first; they’ve been the most recent targets of self-anointed protectors of “feelings.” I’ll give a month’s pay to the first head case who can prove he/she/? lived in the time of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, or any Confederate general. Extra for how such monuments cause them to relive those times. Perhaps those sufferettes can explain how they will better function once such statues are removed? (Should be entertaining.)

Then we have those who want to change names of military installations and cities. Let’s start with California cities. All cities with Spanish names. San Francisco, for instance. Rename it Pelosiopolis? Fort Bragg to New Leningrad? Raze the Spanish missions? Let’s not stop there. Get ready to change your address if you live on Washington or Jefferson Avenues. And, while we’re at it, ban those names from football jerseys; rename any schools bearing those names; remove “Bidwell” a noted fighter of native Americans. Librarians need to start sorting books that need to be burned as directed by these saviors of our souls.

All of this is rooted in liberal-socialist desire to not fundamentally change our country, but to make it theirs. We need to tell them to go “mosey” off!
