Emergency radios available through CERT

The Butte County Community Emergency Response Team has been approved to manage a Get On The Air fund to help put radios in the hands of families that need help buying a radio for emergency communications. All details are available on the radio help page at buttecountycert. com site. This was funded through donations from K6AKF and others.

Those who need financial assistance with paying for a family GMRS license or obtaining a radio, may send a request for help toGrant Hunsicker, 2081 Second St., Oroville, CA 95965 or email cert@buttecounty.net and instructions will be provided. Provide your contact information, how this will be of benefit personally and what type of help is needed.

Donations may be sent by check to the above address with instructions to restrict the money to the GOTA fund Butte County CERT. To donate online, email cert@buttecounty.net and instructions will be provided.
