Stop aiding, abetting corrupt politicians
Let me get this straight. The single-party ruling class of California wants to decrease funding for fire prevention … close fire camps and prison fire training programs without replacing them with adequate manpower solutions … permit public utilities to pass on the costs of felonious mismanagement to ratepayers (aka victims) of their criminal neglect … pass onerous regulations that hinder the reduction of fuels in our forests … drain our reservoirs of critically needed water resources for electricity, agriculture, and drinking water … in that same breath, they also want to permanently CLOSE several hydroelectric plants in Northern California … refuse to allow the construction of nuclear plants … spend billions of dollars on an overbudget highspeed train that nobody wants …
And with a greater-than-twothirds majority in the Assembly and the Senate, and with control of EVERY elected executive office (and by the way, that is not hyperbole) we’re expected to believe that giving them more time in office and more political power will somehow bring about change? They’ll somehow right the ship? They’ll somehow turn things around? I’m not saying “Give power to the Republicans!” They’re equally corrupt and ineffectual in most cases. What I’m saying is “Stop giving power to these particular Democrats and those who support them.” Single-party rule is killing our state. It prevents any natural check or balance on corruption, incompetence, or abuse of power. Can any of you really, truthfully say that we’re heading in the right direction, and the ones taking us there are the right ones for the job?
