Left is overlooking some national disgraces

The Opinion page contributors on 09/19/2021 threw up a smoke screen to change the subject from Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan to the usual divisive topics of abortion, homelessness and climate change. Do you think you will see them write about our 13 dead service men and women or Biden’s “over the horizon,” intel and the righteous strike,” that killed 10 innocent people including seven children and an aide worker? Will they write about the Biden/ Harris border crisis? Thousands of migrants are gathered at the border, drugs are flowing into our country and our government is turning a blind eye to the human traffickers.

Those that railed against President Trump for years are now silent as the Biden administration kills innocent children to show they are tough guys. They leave Americans behind in Afghanistan but don’t worry, it’s only about 10%. Now the Biden administration is saying no one will be reprimanded for these killings. So for all of you woke people that dislike this country and think it deserves to be in decline, you chose the right guy. He’s got it all under control. As I’m writing this opinion letter Biden is relaxing at his beach house, families in Afghanistan are burying their loved ones including seven children and we have Americans who were left behind enemy lines.

Hear nothing, see nothing and say nothing. Those on the left would tell you it’s time to move on. Arrogance, intellectual dishonesty and stupidity reigns for the “woke.”
