Claiming the second spot was the team of Gina Davis, Cynthia Paulo, Evie Spring and Joan Wagoner at 121. Closest to pin on No. 14: 1, Karen Olson; 2, Konnie Marskey; 3, Allen.

Butte Creek Country Club

The Butte Creek Senior Men’s Golf Club held its monthly tournament last week. The format was a Blind Draw, Two-Man Scramble including a full breakfast thrown in for good measure to encourage participants,

which it did.

The breakfast was bacon and eggs, but the team of Mark Blofsky and Lou Sanchez decided to splurge and make it ham and egg, which they did in style during their round. Their team net score of 66 was good enough for first place and some significant golf shop credit. Others earning credit in the golf shop were: 2, Royal Hawkley and Mike Lim, 67; 3, Jim Sands and Ray Parker, 68; 4, Bruce Whitegiver and Tom McMurphy, 69. Taking the low gross prize was the team of Henry Brown and Dave Harrison with a gross score of 75, albeit they also tied the 4th place low net score of 69. Unfortunately, unlike the Annual Good Guys Tournament, there was no award for the DAL team, if you get my drift….just saying.

The Butte Creek Women’s Golf Club played an Irish, 4-Player Stableford format for its weekly tournament, as follows: holes 1-6, one best-ball; holes 7-11, two best balls; holes 12-15, three best balls; holes 16-18, four best balls. Taking first was the team of Karen Beckman, Tami Blofsky, Irma Jenkins and Pat Stephenson with 87 points. Taking the second spot was the team of Joan Bequette, Vicki Ellcessor, Sally Hayes and Darlene Thomasson with 84 points.

Table Mountain GC

Sandy Goble was low gross with a score of 81 in the Table Mountain Women’s Golf Club Stroke Play Tournament. Debra Lerner was low net on the day with a 68. Second flight: 1, Pam Weichert, 70; 2, Jody Thompson, 75; 3, Sue Snow, 78; 4, Christl Yates, 80. Third flight: 1, Pete Powell, 73; 2, Elaine Thomas, 77; 3, Leslie Vermillion, 79; 4, Liz Gordon, 82.
