Learn about Winslow — and vote for him

-

I spent my parenting years instilling the importance of voting. Vote with your brain, heart, and your own research. Be a good human, respect our world and appreciate differences. I could not be prouder to see my son, Addison Winslow, step up to represent Chico.

His path is filled with growth and experience nationally and internationally and uncountable hours of volunteering.

He doesn’t just say it, he lives his point of view and is the most authentic person I have met. He has passion for not just an idealistic community, but he provides HOW solutions are fiscally responsible and physically possible.

Addison has always been a target of extremist social media groups for his dedication, but no one is able to say he is unapproachable or doesn’t listen to opposing views. He has established himself as a knowledgeable advocate for housing and safe streets who provides realistic views and solutions. Bringing Chico back to the days of a thriving downtown, biking, walking, and beautiful parks is possible. No candidate wants people living in parks, unsafe water, or a crumbling infrastructure. The difference is how this path is paved.

I suggest his website, addisonforchico.org. There are links to his published writings and his own words for what he represents and believes. Don’t rely on false narratives, fear fueling groups and sound bites. Across districts vote for stability, evidence-based solutions, and a better, more affordable future for our children. It’s time to move forward, it’s time for a new breed of youth.
