Stevenson quickly becomes top priority
Here’s a roundup of some of the fantasy football players you could be targeting ahead of Week 11.
Some of the names below might be taken already, but if not, there are a bunch of dudes who could change your fantasy fortunes this season. Let’s run through them, in no particular order.
1. Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson
Yes, he’s probably rostered in a bunch of leagues given that he was the healthy RB on the top of the Pats’ depth chart ahead of Sunday’s game. Then? He ran for 100 yards, two touchdowns and caught 4-of-5 targets.
Damien Harris might be back again soon, but this might be more of a split than in previous weeks in favor of the rookie.
2. Titans RB D'Onta Foreman
Adrian Peterson had eight carries for 21 yards. Jeremy McNichols? A paltry 4for-7.
And then there’s Foreman, who had 11 carries total. Hmmmm. Definitely worth the pickup to see if he continues to trend upwards in a run-heavy scheme.
3. Cardinals RB Eno Benjamin
James Conner fell back to Earth this week against Carolina, and Benjamin had six carries. Not a huge priority but if you have a bench spot, he’s worth one while Chase Edmonds is out.
4. Jaguars WR Jamal Agnew
Weird, but true: He was targeted five times and didn’t have one catch. But he did carry the ball three times and scored once. He’s the WR to roster from Jacksonville, which doesn’t mean a ton, but there’s upside here.
5. Titans WR Marcus Johnson
Is there room for a second passcatcher behind AJ Brown in Tennessee? With Julio Jones on the mend … maybe? Johnson had six targets, caught five of them and turned them into 100 yards. Intriguing!
6. Saints WR Tre'Quan Smith
A quarterback change in New Orleans might have led to a new top receiver — Smith has 97 yards in his past two games and scored on Sunday.
7. Panthers QB Cam Newton
Oh, you didn’t hear? HE’S BAAAAAAAACK! It’s not going to be the Cam of old once he starts (maybe next week?), but you will likely get a QB who will run a ton, especially near the goal line. There’s plenty of value in that.
