Bolin, Tryon and Culleton win seats

The final unofficial count in the first Paradise Town Council election since the 2018 Camp Fire did not change the final order much when it was released on Friday.

Incumbent Greg Bolin finished on top of the race while political newcomer Rose Tryon claimed second while Steve “Woody” Cullet on was third.

Those two displaced incumbents Melissa Schuster and Michael Zuccolillo.

Bolin won with 1,509 votes (14.70 percent) of the votes while Tryon collected 1,398 votes (13.62 percent) while Steve “Woody” Culleton is third with 1,241 votes (12.09).

Luke Bellefeuil­le was fourth with 1,023 votes (9.96 percent). Schuster finished fifth with 888 votes (8.65 percent) while Julian J. Martinez is sixth with 635 votes (6.81). Zuccolillo was seventh with 645 votes (6.28 percent).

Following Zuccolillo in order are John Gillander 551 votes (5.37 percent), Sam J. Gronseth 525 votes (5.11 percent), Steve Oehler 490 votes (4.62 percent), Greg Mowers 474 votes (4.62 percent), Warren Bullock 439 votes (4.28 percent), and Rachelle McCann 362 votes (3.53 percent).

PID’s Shaw and Hinman Jr win seats

The Paradise Irrigation District races also came to an end with both leaders on election night held on as voters chose directors in Division 1 and Division 2.

Appointed incumbent Brian Shaw, who replaced Dan Hansen who had replaced Dan Wentland after he left for Tennessee, won with 1,903 votes (58.73%). He beat Chris Rehmann who collected 1,337 votes (41.27%).

In Division 2, Alan Hinman Jr., defeated William Kellogg and Fred Hayden. Hinman collected 1,631 votes or 51.45 percent while Kellogg was second with 1,016 votes (32.05%). Hayden was third with 523 votes (16.50%).
