THIS WEEKEND COULD BRING a summer high point. Whether we gather with like minds, rally for a cause, or share a swim and picnic, Friday’s full moon in communal Aquarius highlights our interconnection. This glowing, social moon opposes the sun and Mercury shining in Leo, and they loan us the ability to shine and share ourselves. Venus joins the party as she retrogrades in Leo this weekend and approaches her second of three conjunctions to Jupiter this summer, increasing the flow of all emotions.

We just have to remember to share the limelight; the difference between Leo’s gift and its shadow is the ability to respect, empathize, and share with others. A sun-Neptune quincunx over the weekend adds to this imaginative panache, but it doesn’t make us realistic or proactive. The moon enters Pisces on Saturday and Sunday and softens our hearts.

Let’s practice being fully present for the people around us this weekend. We tend to fall into old emotional patterns, but we may be able to make fresh choices that feel more aligned with our purpose as Venus squares serious Saturn. This softer moment doesn’t last long; be ready to shift gears and take action on Monday and Tuesday as Mercury trines Uranus.

Over the next few weeks, momentum builds in political campaigns and our own progress as Saturn turns direct and squares Jupiter. Our ambition can begin to find its feet again, and after this summer’s break, we can bring a fresher, kinder mindset back to our long-term goals.

FRIDAY, JULY 31: The moon is full this morning, which calls our attention to all group dynamics, politics, gossip, and our communal sense that we are all one. We want to know that no matter how busy our beloveds are, we are special to them — not a burden.

SATURDAY, AUG. 1: Today brings magic, not logic or clarity. The morning hums with generosity. This afternoon we grow edgier, more easily discouraged, and in need of support as the mood-defining moon squares restrictive Saturn, and then enters sensitive, perceptive Pisces. If a quirky concern or fear wriggles to the surface, get more information. We benefit from mutual gentleness tonight.

SUNDAY, AUG. 2: After a soft, dreamy morning, respond to a subtle opportunity to grow personal authority. Take notes about new ideas bubbling up for long-term progress, but don’t expect them to materialize overnight. Communication can be disjointed midday; speak calmly and from the heart. Accept people’s expressed limitations and change plans accordingly.

MONDAY, AUG. 3: We may be slow off the mark under a sleepy Pisces moon. Momentum picks up this afternoon as the moon forms a determined trine with Mars and Saturn. Kick into gear later as the moon enters active Aries.

TUESDAY, AUG. 4: Make this day action-packed and eventful as the Aries moon trines the sun. Follow any lines of opportunity to make progress. Redirect temper flashes into mutual support and satisfying work.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 5: Take any green light and run with it as the moon forms an energizing trine with Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter. Make changes before the moon enters more settled Taurus tonight.

THURSDAY, AUG. 6: Identify the most urgent need and attend to it. We can make steady, enduring progress as Mars trines Saturn, but if we sit still, we tend to stay that way. Blend aesthetics with function, and work with love.
