LET’S PUT KINDNESS FIRST. We’re in a haze of deep and sensitive feelings, with the sun and Venus — and soon Mercury — all in Cancer, a sign that brings us to our hearts and to our feelings, sending our thoughts to home and protection.

Mars, the activating planet, stirs the depths of our psyches. This planet will bring up unfinished business and nudge some monstrous crocodiles in the swamps of our collective subconscious — as it has retrograded, or appeared to work backward, in its deep sign of Scorpio since May 27. As Mars turns direct this Wednesday, it encourages us to build up healthy momentum, and may give us a break from the recent difficulties around old resentments, anger, and obsessions. But the turbulence can increase as it turns direct.

This won’t be a problem for most of us. Though we all need to be extra aware, we can acknowledge our anger or frustrations and then take considered action. But let’s keep our eyes open.

Friday is a great day to incorporate community and check in on organizations. Everyone could use some support. We may feel a little raw over the weekend under a sensitive moon in Pisces — it will be good to relax around people whom we know and trust. Be gentle all around; everyone may be feeling a bit distracted by their inner workings.

Our energy kicks up a notch as the moon enters Aries on Monday; we’ll need to be quick on our feet early next week. Decisions are made and power is brokered as Jupiter trines Pluto. If we want to be involved in those decisions, we need to speak up now and become part of the solution. The mood shifts on Wednesday as the moon enters more settled Taurus and Mars turns direct. What has been blocked may now unblock, but that goes for the truly difficult plans as well as the good ones. Venus opposes Pluto over the next two days, and we may get a chance to let feelings flow. Kindness helps.

FRIDAY, JUNE 24: This morning a collaborative Aquarius moon squares active Mars and encourages community organizing around a cause. We may feel at loose ends, but can strengthen our connections. Tonight, choose a safe place to be sensitive.

SATURDAY, JUNE 25: It’s a good day to drift and dream, but hard to get anything done. We exchange information by osmosis, not necessarily by words. Keep expectations low and the heart open.

SUNDAY, JUNE 26: Be gentle with one another this morning. Check and clarify intentions during a tricky spell in midafternoon. Evening instigates a desire for a change of scene.

MONDAY, JUNE 27: Where we had a conversation yesterday, we want action today. Venus trines Neptune and brings hopeful imagination to life, but hoping is not enough. We lose patience easily, but this frustration can kick us into gear. TUESDAY, JUNE 28: People can be just plain difficult. Sometimes we need to step past social niceties to progress. Expect the unexpected around dinnertime as the moon conjuncts Uranus. WEDNESDAY, JUNE 29: The moon enters stubborn, sensual Taurus, and Mercury enters deep-feeling Cancer; without old resentments or hidden plans, all flows calmly in the right direction. But Mars also turns direct and stirs things up. If people need to share their frustrations, help them feel heard and react another day. Handle sharp objects and accident-prone conditions with care. THURSDAY, JUNE 30: Share comfort and reassurance, support and patience. We notice that as we open our hearts, we also open to the possibility of loss. Creativity heals.
