GIRL ASLEEP
Greta is new in school and just about to turn fifteen in this oddball Australian comedy with serious and surreal twists. A trio of mean-girl nemeses follows her around, making her and the viewer uncomfortable with their resemblance to beautiful zombies. When Greta’s parents throw her a birthday party, the stress of growing up and wearing a pink dress sends her into a dreamscape fugue state, in search of a music box stolen by a living stuffed animal.
