Lucky Strike: A Fresh Ap­proach to Form and Color, a show of works by Ruben Aguirre, Howard Sher­man, and Michael Cut­lip, has a 5 p.m. re­cep­tion on Fri­day, June 2. Shirley Baskin Fa­mil­ian, a long­time stamp col­lec­tor, spent more than a decade work­ing with mo­saic tile de­sign be­fore tak­ing her in­ter­est in pat­terns and colors in an­other di­rec­tion, when she be­gan col­lag­ing her can­celed stamps to ev­ery­day ob­jects and flat de­signs. An ex­hi­bi­tion of her work opens on Satur­day, June 3, at 4 p.m.
