Santa Fe-based intellectual percussive troubadours Storming the Beaches With Logos in Hand present Mudfields, a multimedia theater piece, as part of Currents New Media on Friday, June 23, at El Museo Cultural de Santa Fe (555 Camino de la Familia, 505-992-0591).
Mudfields fuses live music with video projections, audio soundscapes, set design, and costuming — and includes work by students from New Mexico School for the Arts. Doors open at 8 p.m., and the show starts at 8:30 p.m. Admission is $10 at the door; proceeds support the band’s first full U.S. tour and cultural preservation work in Guinea, West Africa.
