GVG Contemporary, 241 Delgado St., 505-982-1494 GVG’s exhibition Material Impulse: A Confluence of Clay Artists, organized by guest curator Robert Michael Siracusa, opens Friday, June 23, with a 5 p.m. reception. The show is a survey of contemporary regional ceramic artists and includes works by Novie Trump, Jeff Reich, and Farraday Newsome and explores the materiality and versatility of clay. There is a free panel discussion with the artists and Siracusa at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 24.
