THE ASTROLOGICAL ENERGY TURNS AROUND and encourages new momentum by the end of the week. But this Friday the 13th could be true to type. Mercury appears to hold still while it straightens out this weekend under the Aries moon. Sunday through Tuesday could be turbulent, but may bounce back in the process as Mercury, retrograde for the last three weeks, turns direct.

Add patience instead of trying to stick to a schedule. Put safety and lightness above all. Stand back from ongoing feuds. Watch sharp objects and temperamental motors. Make the most of delays, but check to make sure everyone feels understood. Keep eyes open for misconceptions that need to be corrected; plans and orders need to be adjusted. Be cognizant of the results of brooding percolating behind the scenes over the last few weeks. The sun conjuncts Uranus on Wednesday and can jumpstart any new plans. But beware: It can also add voltage to our nervous systems.

After Tuesday, it’s time to make things happen and start fresh projects. The week ends as the sun enters Taurus and we begin the fertile season, the best time to plant seeds.

FRIDAY, APRIL 13: It’s a day of contradictory moods, both hypersensitive and brave, bold and anxious, with occasional gusts of determination. Good will early this morning can get a little threadbare if kindness and patience do not prevail; the moon enters Aries and impatience increases tonight. Walk on the wild side; just keep eyes open and don’t fly off the handle.

SATURDAY, APRIL 14: Be in no hurry — interesting ideas are promoted, but wait until the dust settles. Make the most out of the moment. Rest up during a tired or cranky spell during the afternoon. Take precautions to prevent accidents tonight; pay attention to and stay in the present.

SUNDAY, APRIL 15: Impatience can become explosive, but then helps to clear the channels as Mercury turns direct. A feisty Aries moon squares Mars and Pluto, joining the sun and Uranus. For most of us, the energy will swirl strangely before clearing. Misunderstandings and problems are revealed, then we can clear them up. Some will get what they deserve, but others could be caught in the crossfire; wild cards get dealt left and right.

MONDAY, APRIL 16: The mood stabilizes under a pragmatic Taurus. Repair snafus, find out what page everyone is on, and start to implement recent good ideas. Unexpected treasures and challenges surface. Tag opportunities and follow up on them later. Relationship issues move to the forefront.

TUESDAY, APRIL 17: Political, personal, and aesthetic passions are aflame as Venus opposes Jupiter and trines Pluto. Friendships deepen and relationships shift to a new level, but people may act out. Deepen all friendships and connections; don’t be territorial. Elsewhere, a generation gap could widen; the start of some interesting processes lies ahead.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 18: Stay in the loop. Memos fly fast and furious as the moon enters Gemini while the sun joins Uranus. Decisions need to be made to solve recent problems, and it helps to be in on that process. News buzzes, both life-changing and petty; filter out the gossip and stay on target with what’s important.

THURSDAY, APRIL 19: The weather and opinions, possibilities and attitudes, can shift, making it hard to get a read on the destination. Don’t take changing moods personally. Tonight, the astrological mood begins to slow down as the sun enters Taurus and we enter that fertile phase when ideas, seedlings, and major political movements grow roots.
