The T Sisters swing at Kitchen Sink Recording Studio; Marcos Cavalcante and Mariano Morales make the Rio connection at Museum Hill Café; Josh Hoyer brings a little soul to Santa Fe Bandstand; and The Rocky Horror Show does the time warp again at Santa Fe

- — Jennifer Levin

The T Sisters are a family band in the singalong, roots-rock tradition, melding their voices into gorgeous, thrumming harmonies on such albums as Kindred Lines (Spruce and Maple Music, 2013) and Live at Tiny Telephone (Three-headed Sounds, 2017). Despite the folky, neo-old-time genre into which they fall, the Oakland-based band is more Andrews Sisters than Carter Family — more sassy than tinny or scratchy. The T Sisters play at Kitchen Sink Recording Studio (528 José St.) at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 22. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 at brownpapertickets.com.
