Singleplayer Titanfall, anybody?

This is literally the only reason I haven’t played it yet. I have purchased each Call of Duty game and each Battlefield game just for the silly overthe-top action of singleplayer. Still have yet to do multiplayer on any of them.

Well, the other thing they didn’t think about is how many people don’t have internet capable of playing this. I don’t. Because there isn’t internet other than satellite where I live.

I only play (and develop) singleplayer games. I can appreciate multiplayer, but I hate it. Other people ruin the experience for me. I like Titanfall’s aesthetics, I dislike the gameplay.

Call of Duty, the original games not the crap they put out now, were some of the best singleplayer games ever made. Maybe these creators lack the talent to create anything as good as those were. The D-Day landing in Call of Duty is one of the most amazing, gripping campaigns in a singleplayer game ever. Modern Warfare eroded that legacy to the point people don’t even expect a story.

There’s no depth to the game as is. I was hoping to be introduced to a new sci-fi universe with the game. See some story behind it and be introduced to some good characters. Instead it’s basically Call of Duty with giant robots and jetpacks.

I have a feeling the reason for this was to prototype the future of gaming where all games will be in the Cloud. And you have to pay for the net connection and to lease out games. I don’t like the future of gaming if that’s where it’s headed. Also I remember when multiplayer was a bonus to the campaign. Not the other way around.
