DEMO Let this top-down shooter put a spell on you

This is HotlineMiami, 1,000 years earlier. This top-down indie shooter takes you back to a time when—if my recollection of history is accurate—dangerous wizards roamed the Earth. You are one of these warlocks, fortunately, and while you begin with the ability to shoot fire from your fingertips, and fling objects about with telekinesis, it’s not long before your repertoire expands. There’s around half-anhour of environment to explore, and plenty of medieval warriors to slaughter in this demo. What The Spell currently lacks in length, it makes up for with its sophisticated and meaty magical combat. Sadly, it’s early days, so the full release may be some way off yet.
