EVENTS Shiloh Saturday Program for Families
Dr. Donald Steinkraus, professor of entomology at the University of Arkansas, will offer tips for identifying and photographing Ozark flora and fauna in “Selfies with Stinkbugs,” from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 16, at the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History in Springdale. The first 20 youth participants will receive a free disposable camera.
Photography Program
Eureka Springs photographer Edward C. Robison III will present a slide program entitled “Ozark Landscapes,” at noon Wednesday, July 20, in the at the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History. A graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute, Robison is owner of Sacred Earth Gallery in Eureka Springs.
Barn Party
The Shiloh Museum of Ozark History will host “Barn Party: Pluck and Play,” an acoustic jam session on the museum grounds, from 5:30 p.m. to dusk Friday, July 22. Musicians and music lovers are invited to bring an instru- ment and a lawn chair and join in. The event is sponsored by the Downtown Springdale Alliance.
