This will Sarah Stokes ’seventh year in Pea Ridge. It is her 29th year in education, 11 of which were in teaching and the rest in administra­tion.

“I’m very excited to be starting my seventh year in the Ridge,” she said.

Mrs. Stokes earned her bachelor’s degree from Missouri Southern State College (before it was MSSU) in Joplin and her master’s from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway.

Of her job, she said: “Everything about it is the best! I love the kids; the teachers and other building staff are amazing, caring people; my office ladies are great; I have a boss whose vision is taking the district in the right direction; we are in a community that is proactive in meeting the needs of our kids; and every day that I drive to work, I realize how grateful I am to be a part of this.

She and her husband, Dale, have four grown children and six pretty awesome grandchild­ren ranging from 5 months to 11 years old.

She enjoys traveling, photograph­y, reading, listening to many different kinds of music, and spending time with family and friends who make me laugh.

Administra­tive Assistant

Susan Coble: scoble@prs.k12.ar.us

This will be Susan Coble’s first year as secretary, but she has been with the school district since 2007 as a substitute. For four years she worked in the ISS classroom at the Intermedia­te School. A graduate of Bentonvill­e High School, Mrs. Coble likes the sense of community working at the school provides.

“I get to interact with school staff, students, parents, grandparen­ts and local businesses. The hugs are just a bonus!”

She has been married to her sweetheart, Michael Coble, for 17 years. She has two stepchildr­en, Amanda Gilmore and Aaron Coble, two daughters, Amber Shoulders and Bethany Thetford, and a son, Nick Coble, who will be a sophomore at PRHS this year, and 11 grandchild­ren. She enjoys church where her parents, Larry and Reba Taylor, have pastored the House of Prayer for 37 years. She enjoys being creative in crafting, design and decorating and shopping at flea markets, junk shops and farmers markets.

Brenda Mangrum: bmangrum@prs.k12.ar.us

Brenda Mangram has been working as registrar/attendance clerk for seven years and has been in the Pea Ridge School District for 11 years. She graduated from Shreveport-Bossier City Technical School.

She said she loves meeting new parents and students and being a part of their lives, as well as helping teachers and staff.

She has two sons, Hunter and Isaac, a daughter, Paige, and five grandchild­ren. She enjoys riding her bike and walking.
