Lillie ‘Sue’ Kennan

Lillie “Sue” Kennan, 79, of Rogers, Ark., died Sept. 27, 2016, in Rogers. She was born Feb. 24, 1937, in Garfield, Ark., to Owen and Lillie Snyder Mitchell.

She was a lifelong resident of the Rogers area, a member of the First Baptist Church of Rogers and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband William R. Kennan, a brother Kenneth Mitchell and a sister Eva Reed.

Survivors include a son, William Kennan of Rogers; Amy Rollins and her husband Bob of Pea Ridge; her grandchild­ren, Tommy Rollins and his wife Jennifer, Mandy Rollins Burk and her husband Gavin, Cody Kennan and his wife Kaly and Kris Raper and his wife Lori; and 10 greatgrand­children.

A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 30, in Rogers Cemetery in Rogers with the Rev. Ben Rowell officiatin­g.

Memorials may be made to the Rogers Humane Society or to the Rogers First Baptist Church Christian School.

Services were under the care of Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.

Vivian Joyce Mason

Vivian Joyce Mason, 88, of, Rogers, died Sept. 28 at Innisfree Nursing Home. She was born June 28, 1928, in Cherokee City, Ark., to John Barney King and Pearl Dickson King.

She was a homemaker and loved gardening, craft fairs, bingo, crosswords and hummingbir­ds. She loved God and attended Bentonvill­e Full Gospel Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Sherry Lynn Mills; a brother, John King, Jr.; and four sisters, Mildred Krivitz, Etola Rosebrough, Margaret Chamberlai­n and Arrowannah Chamberlai­n.

Survivors are a daughter, Judy Greene and husband Kenneth of Pea Ridge; 10 grandchild­ren; and 27 great-grandchild­ren.

A celebratio­n of life for family and friends was held from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at 2450 Hayden Rd., Pea Ridge, Ark. 72751.

Arrangemen­ts were by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Colleen Snyder

Colleen Snyder, aka Grandma Honey, 53, of Garfield, died Oct. 1, 2016, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers. She was born April 17, 1963, in Rogers to Anton Oliver Weiser and Wanda Lavon Jackson Weiser.

She worked for RTW and later Kennametal retiring after 15 years. She enjoyed being with her grandchild­ren and going to church. She was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church in Gateway.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Rodney Snyder of the home; a son, Jeff Snyder and wife Tara of Centerton; two daughters, Shanna Dorsey and husband Scott of Rogers and Heather Pointer and husband Josh of Rogers; a brother, Lyle Weiser and wife Wendy of Golden City, Mo.; two sisters, Patsy Weeks and husband Lydol of Marshfield, Mo., and Rhonda Blount and husband David of Garfield; 10 grandchild­ren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.

Service is set for 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at New Prospect Baptist Church.

Burial will be in Ruddick Cemetery.

Arrangemen­ts are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Colleen Snyder, in care of Rodney Snyder, Arvest Bank.
