Monday, Oct. 24

2 p.m. Police took a report of tools, including a power washer, stolen from the maintenanc­e shop at Sugar Creek Golf Course.

Tuesday, Oct. 25

12:39 p.m. A resident of Mary Phelps picked up a stray dog and took it to the Pea Ridge Vet; the owner, Wyatt Varner, claimed it about 4:30 p.m. Varner, 20, Pea Ridge, was cited for dog at large.

8:42 p.m. A resident of Blair Circle reported a missing 16-year-old male. As a result of an investigat­ion, the youth was found and returned to his guardians.

Wednesday, Oct. 26

2:23 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Tommy Wayne Walker, 44, Pea Ridge, for driving on a suspended driver’s license.

12:40 p.m. Police took a report of a one-vehicle accident at Slack and Crawford streets involving a pickup truck which struck a fire hydrant. As a result of the investigat­ion, police arrested Marcella A. Phillips, 45, Bentonvill­e, for DWI, failure to maintain control, no proof of insurance, driving on a suspended driver’s license, refusal to submit to breath test and possession of a suspended driver’s license.

8:22 p.m. Police were dispatched to Pea Ridge High School for drug activity involving two students. As a result of the investigat­ion, police arrested a 16-year-old male and a 15-year-old male for possession of a controlled substance.

Thursday, Oct. 27

9:10 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Jason Siefried Lipp, 29, Bella Vista, for felony possession of drug parapherna­lia, no proof of insurance and driving left of center.

1:15 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested a passenger of the vehicle, Christophe­r Herring, 21, Garfield, on warrants from Benton County and Rogers.

4:15 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Roy W. Johnson, 23, Rogers, for two counts of endangerin­g the welfare of a minor, permitting an unauthoriz­ed driver to drive and criminal impersonat­ion. The 16-year-old female driver was charged with two counts of no child safety restraints, no insurance and no driver’s license.

Friday, Oct. 28

11:20 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested the driver, a 17-year-old male, for DUI and no driver’s license; passenger Jerry Eugene Keefer, 45, Pea Ridge, for seconddegr­ee endangerin­g the welfare of a minor, contributi­ng to the delinquenc­y of a minor, public intoxicati­on and permitting unauthoriz­ed person to drive. The youth was taken to the Juvenile Department of Correction­s.

Saturday, Oct. 29

10:19 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police towed the vehicle driven by Memorie Raper, 26, Bella Vista, as she did not have a driver’s license. Raper was taken to a residence on Hayden Road at her request.

Sunday, Oct. 30

6:45 a.m. Police were advised that dogs in the Windmill Subdivisio­n had been barking for an hour. As a result of the investigat­ion, police saw a white German shepherd/Malamute type dog walking around the area and found a vehicle open inside an open garage with a male asleep inside. The man admitted it was his dog. He, Kenneth Stewart, 29, Pea Ridge, was cited for dog at large.

12:14 p.m. Police were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident involving a car and a motorcycle on Pickens Road. The driver of the motorcycle, Aaron Elster, 24, Pineville, Mo., reported that he was westbound on Pickens when a golf Ford Taurus stopped abruptly forcing him him to lay the motorcycle on its side. He said the driver of the car left the scene after he tried to make contact. Both Elster and his passenger declined medical service.

10 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested the passenger, Raeanna Cheyenne Whitley, 21, Rogers, for possession of drug parapherna­lia and cited the driver, William Wayne Fair, 37, Seligman, Mo., for no driver’s license. The vehicle was towed.
