Pea Ridge Free Will Baptist

The Giving Gallery will open at 8 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3. The Giving Gallery for children (ages 16 and younger) will open at the Pea Ridge Free Will Baptist Church, 351 Lee Town Road. This annual event offers an opportunity for the children of our community to experience Christmas shopping in a warm, safe environment at a very low cost. Members of the church and the community have collected items that can be purchased by children for their family and friends at a very low cost. All items are priced at $1 or less with most items being 25 to 50 cents. With help from their parents, children make out a shopping list and a dollar amount to be spent. Gift items are then wrapped with gift tags for free. There will be adults and teens from the church to help each child as they go through the shopping process.

Also open for shopping will be an area for parents who are waiting for their children to complete their shopping. This area will be open to the public with new and yard sale items, home baked pies, cookies, jellies and some crafts. Shopping hours will end at 2 p.m.

All proceeds go to funding the Giving Gallery for the next year. We have seen the number of children shoppers dramatically increase each year and would love to see this as the best year ever for our young shoppers.
