Monday, Feb. 6

12:21 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop on North Davis Street, police arrested a 17-year-old male for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug parapherna­lia. He was released to a parent.

5:29 p.m. Police received a delayed burglary report from a resident of Greer Street involving someone taking cash from the house. As a result of the investigat­ion, police arrested Mason M. Womack, 24, no address listed, for residentia­l burglary, possession of drug parapherna­lia, fleeing and on warrants for failure to pay fines and costs.

Tuesday, Feb. 7

2 p.m. Police assisted emergency personnel with a possible attempted suicide at Kings Lane apartments. While on the scene, a first responder was bitten by a dog. The dog’s owner was contacted Feb. 8 and advised to quarantine her dog.

3:30 p.m. A resident of Bella Vista reported receiving a counterfei­t $100 bill as partial payment of rent on a house on McCulloch. As a result of the investigat­ion, police arrested Robert Douglas, 29, Pea Ridge, for two felonies — forgery and possession of drug parapherna­lia and on two felony warrants and three misdemeano­r warrants.

5:01 p.m. Police were informed that someone picked up a stray dog near the intersecti­on of It’ll Do and McNelly roads and taken it to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic. The dog did have a microchip.

Wednesday, Feb. 8

7:11 a.m. A resident of McCulloch Street reported finding a bicycle in his yard.

11:15 a.m. Police took a report on terroristi­c threatenin­g involving a 16-year-old male who threatened to cut the brake line on a school official’s vehicle. The school official did not wish to press charges. The student reiterated the threat to a counselor with Vantage Point. The informatio­n was forwarded to the Juvenile Prosecutor for considerat­ion of formal charges.

8 p.m. A resident of Davis Street reported theft involving her sending a iPhone to a buyer who did not send the money.

Thursday, Feb. 9

7:37 a.m. Police investigat­ed a vehicle blocking the roadway on McCulloch Street near Van Dorn Street. As a result of the investigat­ion, police arrested Mark Edward Helton, 43, Pea Ridge, for on an absconder warrant and Kennedy Martin, 22, Rogers, for an absconder warrant.

2:15 p.m. Police were advised of a dog at large that was behaving aggressive­ly on O.D. Bancroft. The owner arrived as police were approachin­g the dog. The owner, Carrie Mays, 29, Pea Ridge, was cited for dog at large.

Friday, Feb. 10

2:09 p.m. A resident of Peck Road reported two pickups driving across property and damaging it.

2:52 p.m. Police received a trespassin­g report from a resident of Barris Lane.

5:54 p.m. A resident of North Davis Street reported a dog was running loose and bit his dog. As a result of the investigat­ion, police issued a citation for dog at large to Nancy DeShields, 44, Pea Ridge.

8:14 p.m. A resident of Pace Lane reported her 15-year-old son was seen leaving the school driving a vehicle. She was unable to find him. As a result of the investigat­ion, it was learned the youth, who did not have a driver’s license, had borrowed his mother’s car and driven it to school.

10:42 p.m. While on patrol, police saw a male walking on the north side of a business on North Curtis Avenue. When police approached, the male ran into a nearby field. As a result of the investigat­ion, police cited a 16-year-old male for curfew violation, fleeing and possession of a controlled substance. He was released to a parent.

Saturday, Feb. 11

10:15 p.m. A resident of West Pickens Road reported a 12-year-old female being physically violent with her. The youth was taken to stay with another relative until she could be seen in court.

Sunday, Feb. 12

9:34 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Van Dorn Street for an attempted suicide. The 28-year-old male was transporte­d to a hospital to be evaluated.
