Historic Advertisin­g Exhibit

Marketing Magic, an exhibit featuring historic advertisin­g memorabili­a, opens Monday, Feb. 27, at the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History.

Inspiratio­nal Chorale Performanc­e

The University of Arkansas Inspiratio­nal Chorale will perform a selection of civil rights songs ranging from Billie Holiday to John Legend at noon Wednesday, Feb. 15, in the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History. Under the direction of Dr. Jeffrey Murdock, the mission of the Chorale is to keep the black sacred music tradition alive.

History and Technology Program for Families

Students from Springdale’s Helen Tyson Middle School EAST (Environmen­tal and Spatial Technology) program will demonstrat­e how 3D printing, virtual reality, and other modern technologi­es can bring history to life from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, in the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History. The program is part of the museum’s Third Saturday series for families.

LifeWriter­s
