Highland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Bella Vista provides skilled and long-term care nursing services for the Northwest Arkansas and Southwest Missouri areas. Using this approach, the facility admits residents recovering from hospital stays after surgical procedures, cardiac incidents, wound care, pain management, intravenous medication, and other acute care services.
The facility also provides long-term care services for members of the community needing additional assistance to meet their daily needs. Long-term care residents assist nursing staff in developing a plan of care identifying additional care areas while recognizing areas where the individual can remain independent. Staff members cultivate strong relationships with the long-term residents, providing warmth and familiarity in an effort to make residents and their families feel as close to home as possible.
