Jim McCarty

Jim McCarty, 75, of Farmington, Ark., died Monday, April 17, 2017, in Springdale, Ark. He was born Oct. 25, 1941, in Combs, Ark., to William Riley and Bessie Marie Lackey McCarty.

He was an employee of Fayettevil­le Public School District for many years and was a Baptist.

Survivors are his wife of 50 years, Eldora Stanley McCarty; a daughter, Brenda McIlvain of Seligman, Mo.; two sons, Jamie Ray McCarty and Joe Dale McCarty, both of Farmington; and a dog, Patches, whom he adored; two sisters, Joy Nelson and her husband Jerry of West Fork, and Janice Pense and her husband Carl of Fayettevil­le; a brother, James McCarty and his wife Shirley of Ventura, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Dowell Cemetery, under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.

William Thomas Noblitt

William Thomas Noblitt, 74, of Rogers, Ark., died April 10, 2017. He was born April 11, 1942, to Wray and Delaine Noblitt.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Terri Clary of Texas.

Survivors are his wife of 39.5 years, Nicki; 10 children, Brenda of Illinois, Cindy and Rick Black of Lowell, Ark., Terri and Erich Tews of Bentonvill­e, Ark., Steven and Theresa Gear of Little Flock, Ark., Elizabeth Simmons of Texas, Wray and Charity Noblitt of Pineville, Mo., Mayrena and Joe Atkins of Seligman, Mo., Barbara and Denny Siler of Seligman, Amanda Noblitt of Oklahoma and Anthony Noblitt of Rogers, Ark.; 27 grandchild­ren; and nine great-grandchild­ren.

Cecil Eugene Osborn

Cecil Eugene Osborn, 85, of Garfield, Ark., died April 15, 2017, at Cox South Hospital, Springfiel­d, Mo., after suffering a massive stroke while vacationin­g in Branson with dear friends. He was born Feb. 17, 1932, at Elk Falls, Kan., to Charles Martin Osborn and Ida Mae Bennett Osborn.

He attended school in Elk Falls and graduated from Elk Falls High School in 1950. He then attended Independen­ce Junior College for two years. In 1952, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy for four years. In the fall of 1956, he went to work at Boing in Wichita, Kan., until he was laid off in 1971. He then worked for Precision Contours in Wichita which only lasted a short time. In 1972, he was employed by Tweco Products until his retirement in 1995.

He was an avid fisherman. He attended Lost Bridge Community Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, George Osborn; and four sisters, Bessie Royce, Helen Cooley, Viola Barnett and Barbara Sanders.

He married Mary McAlister Osborn from rural Moline, Kan., in 1957, who survives.

Survivors are his wife; two sons, Martin “Marty” Osborn (Debbie) of Clayton, N.C., and Randy Osborn (Sheree) of Rago, Kan.; a daughter, Cathy Ostmeyer of Rogers; seven grandchild­ren, Casi Ebbing and Jason, Justin Osborn and Andrea, Bryant Zimmerman and Kylie, Kyle Lee Osborn and Val, Cody Osborn, Quinlyn Ostmeyer and Daniel Osborn; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 21, before the service begins.

Service is set for 11 a.m. Friday, April 21, at Lost Bridge Community Church with the Rev. Hugh Wagner officiatin­g. Burial will be at Elk Falls Cemetery at Elk Falls, Kan.

Kinsley Rae Rosales

Kinsley Rae Rosales was born on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at 3:26 a.m. to parents Tyler and Kayla Rosales. She weighed 12 ounces and was 10 inches long. Kinsley’s parents were blessed with a very brief time with Kinsley before she gained her angel wings and went to her heavenly home.

Survivors include her mother and father, Tyler and Kayla Rosales of Garfield; her big brother, Lathan Rosales of the home; maternal grandparen­ts, Perry and Rhonda Baker of Rogers; and paternal grandparen­ts, Raul Rosales and Mandie Johnson of Rogers.

Norman R. Weaver

Norman R. Weaver, 71, died April 10, 2017, in his home with his family at his side. He was born Jan. 10, 1946, in Garfield, Ark., to Ted and Velma (Rounds) Weaver.

He was a longtime resident of Seligman, Mo., owning Norm’s Grocery since 1979. He loved his community and was always willing to help people in need.

He was preceded in death by both his parents.

Survivors are his daughter, Nicole Price and husband Jerry of Montgomery, Texas; brother, Loyde Weaver and wife Linda of Pea Ridge; sister, Joyce Ivy and husband Robin of Pea Ridge; and one grandson, Conner Grayson Teters.

Memorial service was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2017, at Rollins Funeral Chapel.
