Edward ‘Ed’ Loyd Banks
Edward “Ed” Loyd Banks, 87, of Washburn, Mo., died Friday, May
12, at Apple Blossom Retirement Community in Rogers.
He was born
June 7, 1929, in Washburn to Lott Gilbert Banks and Rilda Caroline Mahurin Banks.
He married Geneva Pauline Henry Aug. 12, 1953. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving as a CPL in Germany. He operated a dairy farm in Washburn for many years, enjoyed fishing, rabbit and coon hunting, and loved his family. He attended the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Geneva Pauline Henry Banks; six brothers, Floyd Banks, Jay Banks, Denver Banks, Armon Banks, Bryce Banks and Vernon Banks; and six sisters, May Laughlin, Hazel Schrader, Edith Wade, Maggie Woodard, Oleta Woodard and Geneva Antle.
Survivors are two sons, Danny Banks (Linda) of Bentonville and Leonard Henry (Dottie) of Rogers; one daughter, Reva Hayworth (Rick) of Washburn; his long- time friend Kathryn Smith of Washburn; six grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation is set for 12-2 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, at Sisco Funeral Home Chapel in Pea Ridge.
Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, in Sisco Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be at Dent Cemetery with military honors.

Tipton Eugene Burnett
Tipton Eugene Burnett, 64, of Bentonville, died Thursday, May 11, 2017, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. He was born Jan. 11, 1953, in Rogers, Ark., to Mabel and Burt Burnett.
He was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Rogers for 38 years, and served his country in the U.S. Air Force. While working with the postal service, Tip worked weekends with special needs children at the Benton County Sunshine School for nine years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Steven Burnett.
Survivors are his wife Sherry of Bentonville; two sons, Chris Burnett and his wife Kellie of Pea Ridge and Dan Burnett and his wife Lindsay of Bella Vista; two stepsons, James Pilcher and his wife Laura of Centerton and Parker Pilcher of Bentonville; one brother, Rick Burnett of Bentonville; two sisters, Sharon Al-Madhoun and her husband Shawki of Bella Vista and Brenda Branstetter and her husband Jim of Bella Vista; his stepdad, Toby Whorton of Bentonville; one stepsister, Paula Fricke and her husband Todd of Rogers; and nine grandchildren.
A celebration of Tip’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 21, in Bella Vista Church of Christ.

Richard Gilliland
Richard Gilliland, 78, of Pea Ridge, died May 8, 2017, at Mercy
Hospital in
Rogers. He was born
Sept. 6, 1938, in Chanute, Kan., to James
George Gilliland and Martha Ida Susan Manly Gilliland.
He was a U.S. Army veteran where he served as an MP and was awarded decorations for expert rifle marksman, marksman with a carbine, and marksman with a pistol. He married Sue Moore June 9, 1963. He was a woodshop production manager with Kustom Electronics in Chanute, Kan., for 25 years, and retired from Wal-Mart Photo Center. In 1997 he moved to Pea Ridge to make his home. He attended Living Water Assembly in Pea Ridge.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Betty Jane and Madgie Lou Gilliland; and a brother, Bill Gilliland.
Survivors are his wife, Sue Gilliland; a son, Doug Gilliland and wife Patti of Centerton; a daughter, Tammy Laycox and husband Damon of Pea Ridge; a sister, Virginia Cahoj and husband Ed of Bolivar, Mo.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. There was no visitation. A graveside service was held at 12 p.m. Saturday, May 13, at Pea Ridge Cemetery with Pastor Charles McElhaney officiating.

Billy Gene Ingram
Billy Gene Ingram, 60, of Garfield, died in his home Tuesday, May 9. He was born Jan. 26, 1957, in Rogers, to Harley Ingram and June Oxford Ingram.
He was a veteran of Operation Desert Storm serving as a sergeant in the Army National Guard. He previously worked as a truck driver for George’s, Inc. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching historical programs.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Ingram.
Survivors are his parents, Harley and June Ingram of Pea Ridge; three children, Billy, Kenny and Amanda; two step-children, Jennifer and Josh; two sisters, Lori Murray (Buck) of Harrison and Mistie Ingram (Carrie) of Little Elm, Texas; one nephew, Jason Murray; one niece, Jami Henry; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was 5-7 p.m. Monday, May 15, in Sisco Funeral Home, Pea Ridge.
Funeral service was at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, in Sisco Funeral Chapel in Pea Ridge.
Burial with full military honors will be at Ruddick Cemetery.

Wayne Richard Marheineke
Wayne Richard Marheineke, 59, of Fayetteville, Ark., died Friday, May 5, 2017, at Willard Walker Hospice Home. He was born June 7, 1957, in St. Louis, Mo.
Wayne had the biggest heart and welcomed in many of his children’s friends as his own, never turning anyone away. He was an exceptional husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be truly missed by everyone he touched.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Verna Marheineke; and one daughter, Kari Luckadue.
Survivors include his wife, Valeria Marheineke of Fayetteville; his children, Jason and Nicole Marheineke of Pea Ridge, Ark., Tyler Wise of Gravette, Ark., Amy and Art Madison of Bella Vista, Ark., and Lakina Simmons of Cleveland, Miss.; his grandchildren, Makayla Luckadue, Jerid Isphording, Branndon Luckadue, Damien Simmons, Jonathan Simmons Jr., Taylor Marheineke, Quinton Madison, Aaliyah Batista, Abigail Batista, Carly Mae Marheineke, Patience Madison and Little Wayne Madison; his brothers Dale and Joy Marheineke of Avoca, Ark., and Craig Marheineke of Bella Vista, Ark.; and a host of family and friends.
