Paula Anna Anderson
Paula Anna Anderson, 65, of Rogers, Ark., died Jan. 9. She was born Dec. 6, 1952 in Enid, Okla., to Billy Lou Kitchen and Alice Bell McGinnis Kitchen.
She graduated from Carrie High School outside of Enid, Okla., in 1971 and later joined her parents in Arkansas on the family farm by War Eagle Mill in 1970s. She loved cooking, fishing, and playing games with family and friends. She was an avid animal lover and never met a stranger. She was a member of Piney Point Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors are two daughters, Angela Yountz (Joseph) of Pea Ridge and Kacey Anderson of Pea Ridge; a brother, Mark Kitchen (Diane) of Hindsville, Ark.; two sisters, Pamela Williams (Allen) of Enid, Okla., and Cheryl Bundy (Les) of Enid, Okla.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and three on the way; six nieces and nephews; and numerous great and greatgreat nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Cynthia Dunham
Cynthia Dunham, 89, died Jan. 9, 2018, in her home in Garfield. She was born to Charles William and Mayme Janet (Walkling) VanderPloeg on Aug. 25, 1928, in Crookston, Neb.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James; youngest daughter, Jaclyn Baugh; son-in-law, James Kennedy; granddaughter, Camilla Ashley; and her great-granddaughter, Brittany Braun.
Survivors are her daughters, Jeannette Nida and husband, Jerry, Sandra Kennedy, Ruth Obert and husband, Buddy, all of Garfield, Carroll Dunham of Bentonville and Michael Silk of Springdale; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and four great-greatgrandchildren.
Visitation was from 2-3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, in Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.
Service and interment followed in Ruddick Cemetery, Garfield, Ark.
The family sends sincerest thanks to Circle of Life, Bentonville and undying gratitude to Mandi Nussbaum, our hospice nurse who helped us through the tough times. Bless You All!

Debra Evelyn Farrar
Debra Evelyn Farrar, 61, died Jan. 12, 2018, in Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville.
She was born Oct. 1, 1956, in Prescott, Ariz., to Billy Calvin Williams and Janet Irene Garey Williams.
She was a staffing secretary for nursing support services at Washington Regional Hospital. She worked at Washington Regional for almost 40 years. She enjoyed cooking, reading, her job and being with family. She loved life and tending to her beautiful flowers and African violets.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents Garey; great-grandparents, Williams; cousin Ruth “Trinks” Williams; nephew, Jeremy Garey Stacy; and brother-in-law, Eric Stacy.
Survivors are husband, Tim Farrar of Springdale; her parents, Billy and Janet Williams of Pea Ridge; her sister, Marcell Stacy of Pea Ridge; her niece, Coutney Stacy of Pea Ridge; greatnieces, Cameo and Melyia Stacy; great-nephew, Connor Stacy; and numerous cousins and friends.
No visitation, however Mrs. Farrar will be in state from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
Graveside services are set for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, in Elm Springs Cemetery.

Betty Ann Harmon
Betty Ann Harmon, 85, of Gentry died Jan. 11 in her home.
She was born Nov.
12, 1932, in
Savoy, Texas, to Leon Calvin Hodges and Katy Bell McFadden Hodges.
She married Dr. Charles “Gene” Harmon Dece. 31, 1967, and moved to Highfill, Ark., in 1990 to retire and raise commercial poultry. She loved to read, barrel race, was a wonderful cook, artist, and an expert marksman. She was always a good Samaritan for those in need and had a tremendous sense of humor.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dr. Charles “Gene” Harmon; and two brothers, Jack and Billy Hodges.
Survivors are three daughters, Marianne Davis of Gentry, Sharon Kay Davis of Charlottesville, Va., and Maxine Gayle West of Tahlequah, Okla.; three grandchildren, Laura O’Neal (Jim) of Pea Ridge, Katy Cleveland of Charlottsville, Va. and Harley Zule of Tahlequah, Okla.; and two great-grandchildren, Holden O’Neal and Eugene Zule.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.

Chevelle Allene Rust
Chevelle Allene Rust, 5, of Garfield, died Jan. 7, in her home. She was born Nov. 7, 2012, in Bentonville to James Patrick Rust and Syble Christine Hice Rust.
She was a resident of Garfield and was a student at the Pea Ridge preschool. She enjoyed playing with her dogs and friends. Chevelle loved going to school, Batman and playing with her sister and brother.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Rust; her nana, Betty Hice; paternal grandfather, Albert Rust; great-grandmother, Syble Allene Hice; and great-uncle, Rodney Horton.
Survivors are her mother Syble Rust of the home; a brother, Bobby Martin of the home; a sister, Nova Rust of the home; paternal grandmother, Karen Rust of Pea Ridge; Aunt Katie and Uncle Jason Hagar of Pea Ridge; uncle, Chris Rust of Pea Ridge; two aunts, Juanita Hice of Garfield and Jamie Hice of Odessa, Texas; maternal grandfather, Ronnie Hice of Seligman, Mo.; great-grandparents, Delbert “Buster” and Zelda Horton of Pea Ridge; and 11 cousins.
Memorial service is set for 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15, at First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge.

James ‘Jimmy’ Patrick Rust
James “Jimmy” Patrick Rust, 30, of Garfield, died, Sunday, Jan. 7, in his home. He was born June 6, 1987, in Rogers to Albert Rust and Karen Horton Rust.
He was a lifelong resident of Pea Ridge and Garfield and attended Pea Ridge schools. He married Syble Hice on May 10, 2014. He enjoyed dirt track racing, working on cars and caring for his two dogs. He loved hanging out with his friends and loved his family very much.
He was preceded in death by his father; his daughter, Chevelle Rust; mother-inlaw, Betty Hice; paternal grandfather, William Rust; an uncle, Rodney Horton; and a niece, Nola Melton.
Survivors are his wife, Syble Rust of the home; a daughter, Nova Rust of the home; step-son, Bobby Martin of the home; mother, Karen Rust of Pea Ridge; maternal grandparents, Delbert “Buster” and Zelda Horton of Pea Ridge; paternal grandmother, Darlene Rust of Huntsville, Ark.; a brother, Chris Rust of Pea Ridge; a sister, Katie Hagar (Jason) of Pea Ridge; fatherin-law, Ronnie Hice of Seligman, Mo.; and 11 nieces and nephews.
Memorial service is set for 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15, at First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge.
