Reading and rainy days go together
Greetings library family, spring is edging ever closer as we enter into March, with temperatures warming up and rain shower visits akin to relatives staying on holidays. Luckily it is well-known that reading on a rainy day is 10 times better than doing practically anything else on rainy days. With that in mind, be sure to stop by and visit the ladies at the library with your rainy day book needs. Whether it’s asking for advice on what to read next, or getting assistance on how to use our OverDrive app, the girls have you covered!
Recent improvements to the facility, like the café tables, make it possible for those who need a space to work do so comfortably and with ease as they also partake of our coffee station. Other improvements are the remodeling of the children’s and juvenile area. With the library growing at an astonishing rate, the demand for more shelf space presented itself quite quickly these past few months. Keeping with the spirit of change, the librarians and Street Department staff took matters into their own hands to work with the space accessible to them and create a whole new area for our children to continue their love of literacy. Bring the kids for a visit soon and let us know what you think of the improvements to that area.
