Council members approved
advertising for a statement of qualifications for a city prosecutor to replace Rick Hardwick who is “leaving the end of March,” according to Mayor Jackie Crabtree. “We need to get somebody in here so we don’t get a back log in the court system.”
Council members agreed to a special Council meeting at 4 p.m. Monday, April 9, to consider filling the prosecutor’s position.
Crabtree also told city officials he has been working to “rework our wards to make sure they’re a little more equally balanced” and recommended a meeting with Jeff Hawkins from Regional Planning preceding the special Council meeting.
