POLICE: Pea Ridge department reports
6:07 p.m. Kevin Ray Adams, 52, Tulsa, Okla., appeared before Judge Bunch in Pea Ridge District Court and was charge with three counts of violation of a protection order and sentenced to a jail commit of 36 days. He was also served a warrant for violation of a protection order.
Wednesday, March 28
12:05 p.m. Police were given an envelope by an employee of White Oak Station of what was believed to be a small package of meth that was found overnight in the store.
1:29 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on South Curtis Avenue for a criminal mischief involving someone driving through and damaging the yard at that residence. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Gregory DeShields, 44, Garfield, in connection with first degree criminal mischief and careless/prohibited driving. Harassing communications were then received by the reporting party and police began an investigation into that second incident.
4:35 p.m. A resident of Charles Street reported a damaged mailbox.
Thursday, March 29
7:44 a.m. A resident of McIntosh Street reported finding a dog — a white male shepherd mix. The dog was transported to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic by an employee of the Street Department. At 12:32 p.m. the dog was claimed by Michael Tate, 38, Pea Ridge. Tate was issued a citation in connection with dog at large.
11:36 a.m. A resident of Cardin Road reported finding a dog — a black Chow mix. The dog was transported to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic by an employee of the Street Department.
9 p.m. Police were dispatched to a business on North Curtis Avenue for a found property report involving what was believed to be a bag of “suspected methamphetamine” on the floor inside the business.
